:: 20,000 leagues under the sea ::

so, i'm still not venturing far out of my stylistic comfort zone, but i'm working on it! ned land and pierre arronax, perhaps discussing pros and cons of life aboard their floating "prison." arronax obviously weighing on the pros a bit more than the canadian...orrrr maybe i just drew them on different layers and just wanted to make one post?

great start man! and well done for being the first to post artwork. I haven't read 20,000 leagues, but Arronax is a badass name! You're doing a pretty good job of indicating the character personality types with their frames and structures. I could see Arronax getting even more rigid and angular (like a cut stone). Future drawing challenge centered around the theme of nautical adventure? I think yes.

I'm listening to Dio's album Magica right now. We could open the field eventually to Listen / Draw challenges... share a song as mp3 and we all draw what we think from it? Sweet concept album rock draw challenges! I really need to draw tonight! @ _@

haha and traveler?! i'd be all for that, i know roo would jump on board for a dio challenge too!

and i should've specified! aronnax is the slinky guy and ned land is the lumberjacky harpooner. i think i should make him dressed more like a harpooner, but in my head all canadians are lumberjacks at heart.

my bad. I assumed you were naming the characters left to right. With a name like Arronax this guy should at least be a lv. 7 Sorcerer.

Haha! That guy on the left reminds me of Woody Allen. He looks excellently neurotic.
